Magnetic rotary encoders

Newly fabricated magnetic rotary encoders by Renishaw public limited company can be used in a variety of applications. They can be used as position sensors for many applications including formula one race cars, oil fields, space research etc. In formula one race car, using this technology, is attached with an automatic prowork, three-disc, four stage clutch fitted with a prowork digital controller. The controller manages the cluth and engages itself at the same instant when the car rider snaps open the throttle. The program is finely synchronized for every revolution that a wheel spins. This is required since reaction time is very less here. Magnetic rotary encoder is fitted to clutch to monitor clutch operation.
