E-commerce

Electronic commerce or ecommerce is a general concept for transaction and information exchange related to business using latest communication technologies. There exist 3 types of e-commerce systems: electronic markets, electronic data interchange and internet commerce. E-commerce becomes popular after the wide use of internet. Now e-banking, e-payment, e-withdrawal etc. become popular terms. An example of an electronic market is an airline booking system. Electronic data interchange is used by establishments which make a large number of regular transactions. The internet is usually defined by its communication protocol, transmission control and internet protocol.
