MOS RELATED VLSI TECHNOLOGY

Through this technology, we can realize circuits which employ pMOS, nMOS, CMOS and BiCMOS. Here we obtain ‘off the shelf’ circuits. In common practice, nMOS devises are fabricated in a p-type substrate with moderate level of doping. Enhancement mode transistor action is the important term in this area. Depletion mode transistor action too plays a role here. The p-well process and n-well process are the two main methods of production of MOS. An extension by applying simple logic to these processes will lead to twin-tub process.
